Greatest Nature Video Photography with our Timelapse Technique

02 Jun

Recently we AC and Ang/Lucas put off work and went for a vacation after some heavy duty production for some multinational corporate. We make our journey back to gem island in Terengganu. A state up northeast of peninsular Malaysia. Having the thoughts and mood to relax and set work a side in a quiet and clear water island, we end out couldn’t resist to pick up our camera to produce another video. The nature and environment is just too irresistible. But this time we didn’t want to make another same old travel videolog. We found another way to portray our vacation. Its by Photographing… But its making photographs into a video. As the theory of 25 frames per seconds makes 1 seconds of video, we shot more than 5000 images to make this “Greatest” nature video. Suppose we are sleeping and relaxing ourselves in the calm resort, but in the end we spent our time up to late night to capture “stary nights” sun rise and by as people enjoying by the beach playing beach volley ball and swimming, we are setting up our cameras to catch the sun set. Again its the passion of cinematography in us that never want to allow a single beautiful moment just disappear.

Out technique of photographing are named timelapse photography. We capture a series of images to make it into a video later then in post production using various conversion and editing software. As the name goes, “timelapse’ is capturing object, environment changing habits as time flows. We shot more than 5,000 images spent more than 30 hours of photography time to achieve this video.

AC, Lucas  and team hope you will enjoy the nature of this Island from our camera lens.

Another Episode of AC’s Talk About done with world renown photographer Jeffry Lim

17 Feb

I was really excited when I get to know that my future father in-law is going to a best friend’s Photography exhibition. I heard of Jeffry Lim many times and I met him once at my future sister’s Inlaw’s wedding where he was the photographer for her at that time. Around 6pm we arrive BSC and saw this huge lobby covered with partition with Jeffry’s name on the partition, and we then start admiring his work. After a while he appeared and approach us. We started the conversation and before we left I did ask a favor to interview him and he agreed. I was really really excited and come back with my creative team the next day.

I was just thinking about doing a normal interview with him but it ends out being so much things to talk about as his words, pictures, work and life experience really inspired me in pursuing my dreams. Jeff was a humble and simple guy. Love to help others and love to bring joy to people he meet. His exhibition was really successful that many turn out to see his work and we were very lucky too as we manage to get a chance to listen to his presentation on every piece of his work in the exhibition hall. We document that all down in our videos.

The full version video is still in post production process and I’ll get it upload as soon as I could rush the video out. The interview session was very long as Jeff has too much inspiring words to tell audience…Stay Tune guys..

Below is some pics that we would love to share and a video preview

Gem Island Astronomy & Star Photography

17 Feb

Gem Island located at Terangganu Malaysia is a best place to relax and get away from stress. Recently I spent 3 days and 2 night there to take a break for a moment from work. Though it is suppose to be a break from work trip, but I didn’t leave work completely, I still carry my camera together with me. And when the sun goes down, this place really surprise me very much with the stars during the night sky. I manage to capture star images and also the milky way. Below Is a time lapse video taken. This video took us 3 hours to shoot, every shot 30 seconds exposure at 3600ISO with a 18mm efs lens. After taking about 500 shots, I open all the image with Quick time player, “Open Image sequence” and you will get a complete time lapse video like below
